SUZUKI was transferred from Gaythorne to Cowra on 3 June 1944. He was admitted to the 15 Australian Camp Hospital with bronchitis on 6 September 1944, and was hospitalised for a month. He was transferred to Hay on 13 October 1944. He was admitted to the 14 Australian Camp Hospital with pulmonary tuberculosis, and was hospitalised until 6 February 1945. He was again admitted to the hospital with the same illness on 16 December 1945, and died on 22 December 1945. He was buried in the Hay War Cemetery on 22 December 1945.
